About the Project
WHERE LANDSCAPE
MEETS ART
The Weston Building at Yorkshire Sculpture Park is a striking example of architecture and landscape working in harmony.
Shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize 2019, the building blends its interior seamlessly with a carefully considered external environment.
The landscape scheme features plant beds interspersed with boulders reclaimed from the site’s previous life, adding character while celebrating the history of the location. An impressive green roof further enhances the scheme, helping to soften the building’s impact on its surroundings.
Together, these elements create a setting that complements the sculptural quality of the building itself, delivering a truly integrated green art experience.
