What Our Staff Says

Palmers-Leaf-Mark--dark.png

“Working on the soft landscaping at the new Lodge Care Home in York was particularly rewarding as it was a local project for our team. Seeing the planting transform the site and knowing the finished landscape will be enjoyed by residents from the local community made the work especially satisfying.”

About the Project

CONNECTING RESIDENTS

WITH NATURE

New Lodge forms part of the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust village at New Earswick and provides supported living for residents who can no longer manage independently at home.

In environments like this, access to green space plays a vital role in wellbeing, offering a meaningful connection to nature for those who may have limited mobility.

The landscape scheme was designed and delivered to a high standard, creating expansive gardens that are both accessible and enjoyable for residents throughout the year.

The finished spaces provide a calm, welcoming environment where residents can relax, socialise and benefit from daily interaction with thoughtfully designed outdoor areas.
