CREATING SPACE
FOR HEALING
Innovative wellbeing courtyard development
This project involved the full refurbishment of the Maple Ward outdoor space at The Longley Centre.
The aim was to transform the existing roof area into a calm, engaging environment to support patients during treatment and recovery.
We supplied and installed a Raaft joist system alongside bespoke planters filled with intensive topsoil and finished with sensory planting. Every element was designed to be robust, safe and accessible while enhancing the therapeutic value of the space.
The completed rooftop garden now provides a welcoming outdoor area that promotes relaxation, wellbeing and positive patient experience.
