Tagging trees for this project was a key component in order to make sure that we were delivering on the expectations for such a prestigious project. We have searched the Uk and Europe in order to get exactly what the architects have designed. A Cedrus from Hilliers (Southampton) , 16 Prunus from Van Den Berk (Holland) and numerous trees from Von Ehren (Germany), saw us deliver, install and maintain some truly amazing trees.
Having a close relationship with the Planit team was vital in order to achieve our goals. So before we installed any turf, we worked with the architects to make sure we had the gradients just right and then went about installing thousands of square meters of turf from a selected field from our friends Inturf in York.
Selected shrubs and small trees were delivered by our friends at Johnsons Of Whixley in order to create colourful border all year round and attract local wildlife. Planting throughout the year, in order to keep to program.

Clean cover system installation
Our team implemented a full clean cover system across the site to safely rehabilitate contaminated ground in line with planning and local authority requirements.

Specialist tree sourcing and planting
We sourced, tagged and installed landmark trees from across the UK and Europe, working closely with designers to deliver the exact architectural vision.

Large scale turfing and gradients
Thousands of square metres of turf were installed in collaboration with the design team, ensuring precise gradients and a high quality finish throughout the park.

Biodiversity focused planting
Shrubs, bulbs and wildlife features were carefully integrated to support year round colour, habitat creation and sustainable urban drainage.
